Jakob Dietrich is an artist, curator, and university lecturer in Cultural Studies at Johannes Kepler University Linz and the University of Art and Design Linz.

He studied music and media technology at the Anton Bruckner Private University, fine arts and cultural studies at the University of Art and Design Linz, art and digital media at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, and cultural management at the University of Vienna/Institute for Cultural Concepts.

Since 2009, he has been a member and the managing director of the artists' collective qujOchÖ. Dietrich manages the Kunstraum MEMPHIS art space in Linz and conceptualizes and realizes artistic and cultural projects in various contexts. Since 2017, he has been a member of the Linz City Cultural Advisory Board.
