Magda Lipska is a curator at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Her recent projects include Dance Scene (2013) and Today’s Art Makes Tomorrow’s Poland at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw (2013), as well as Stage & Twist at Tate Modern, London (2012). She is co-founder of the research initiative Performance as the Paradigm for the Arts, exploring the genealogies and histories of performance art in Eastern Europe, in collaboration with André Lepecki (NYU).

Lipska studied Cultural Sciences in Warsaw and Berlin, and Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths College, London. She is based between Warsaw and London.
