Nav Haq is Associate Director at M HKA – the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp, where he develops the artistic programme. He organised the landmark exhibition MONOCULTURE – A Recent History (2020) and has curated surveys of major artists including Joseph Beuys, Kerry James Marshall, Hüseyin Bahri Alptekin, and Laure Prouvost. He has also worked on solo projects with Cosima von Bonin, Shilpa Gupta, and Otobong Nkanga.
Haq was curator of the Göteborg International Biennial of Contemporary Art (2017) and the Contour Biennial, Mechelen (2007). At M HKA, he co-curated Don’t You Know Who I Am? Art After Identity Politics (2014) and Energy Flash: The Rave Movement. He is on the editorial board of L’Internationale Online and received the Independent Vision Award for Curatorial Achievement from Independent Curators International, New York (2012).
